For the Third Consecutive Year, FUNIBER and Universities in the Network Organize the International Solidarity Campaign for Toy Drive

The Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican University Foundation, FUNIBER), through the Social Action Area, and in collaboration with the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza, UNIC), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI Mexico), the Fundación Universitaria Internacional de Colombia (International University Foundation of Colombia, UNINCOL), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB), and the Universidad de La Romana (University of La Romana, UNIROMANA), organize the International Solidarity Campaign for toy drive.

FUNIBER, through its offices in more than 30 countries and in collaboration with the universities, seeks to mobilize the educational community, including students, scholarship holders, collaborators, faculty, and family members, to donate toys or school supplies that will be destined for children in situations of social vulnerability.

Our goal is to stimulate solidarity and community volunteering to reinforce everyone’s commitment to society.

Toys are instruments that contribute to children’s development: cognitive, physical, emotional, and social. As stated in children’s rights, play and recreation are recognized as fundamental to the growth of healthy children.

How to participate?

The toy drive takes place from November 27 to Friday, December 12, 2025.

FUNIBER offers its offices so that people interested in participating can donate toys or school supplies (books, backpacks, notebooks, pens, etc.). The universities in the network are also organizing spaces for collection.

Toys should be new or used (if in good condition), preferably educational, eco-friendly, and non-violent. Find out here the recommendations to know which toy you can donate.

Each office and university will make the delivery to a local institution that works with social care of children in vulnerable situations.

Participate and give the gift of solidarity! Let’s take care of the present to improve the future.
