Dr. Maurizio Battino, scientific researcher and director of the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Iberoamerican University Foundation, FUNIBER) at its headquarters in Italy, is participating in a study proposing a personalized treatment strategy to address oxidative stress in patients with periodontitis. Francesca Giampieri, professor at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO), an institution that is part of the International University Network of the Foundation, is also participating in the study. FUNIBER Celebrates World Teachers’ Day with the Launch of a Teacher Care Program
In celebration of World Teachers' Day, the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (Ibero-American University Foundation, FUNIBER) is launching the Teacher Well-being Program and organizing activities related to teacher care. The "Digital Academy in Teaching Practice for a Seamless Transition from Pre-Service to In-Service" project led by the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic), (UNEATLANTICO) with the participation of FUNIBER together with other European institutions, received the third prize for Project of the Year from the European Union, as judged by an international jury, and first place in social media voting at the prestigious ACEEU Triple E Awards, at a ceremony held in Prague, Czech Republic, on September 12.
