Professors from the FUNIBER network participate in the kick-off meeting of the European Erasmus+ MAHINE project for the training of nutritionists in Angola
The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) held, between January 19th and 23rd, the kick-off meeting of the European project Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) “Simulation-based training and digital technologies combined with a service-learning approach for experiential and reflective learning in nutrition and dietetic education” (MAHINE) funded by the European Union through the European Education and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) and aimed at strengthening training, innovation, and international cooperation in the fields of nutrition, agronomy, and health. FUNIBER network researchers celebrate the excellent assessment of the European project E+DIETing_LAB after the final evaluation by SEPIE
The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), belonging to the FUNIBER network of universities, has received the official notification from the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE), which confirms the highly satisfactory evaluation and the positive closure of the Erasmus+ E+DIETing_LAB - Digital Lab for Education in Dietetics combining Experiential Learning and Community Service project. With an overall score of 86/100, the report recognizes the outstanding quality of the work developed and its educational and social impact. Read more
The MAHINE Project, promoted by FUNIBER, the Universidad Europea del Atlántico and the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza, initiates the development of virtual patients to improve nutrition education in Angola
The new Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) program ‘Simulation-based training and digital technologies combined with service-learning approach for experiential and reflective learning in nutrition and dietetic education’ (MAHINE), which is led by the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and in which the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza, UNIC) and the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) participate, has officially started its activity, with several virtual meetings conducted between partners to discuss the first steps of the project and the implementation of new digital tools to improve the training of nutritionists.
