Researcher Mireia Peláez, a professor at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), an institution that is part of the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) network, is participating in an international study that examines the factors associated with employment and quality of working life in patients with metastatic breast cancer (MBC). The research, part of the PREFERABLE-EFFECT project, an international clinical trial on exercise in women with MBC, seeks to better understand the barriers and facilitators for these patients to maintain their professional activity. The Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), belonging to the FUNIBER network of universities, has received the official notification from the Spanish Service for the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE), which confirms the highly satisfactory evaluation and the positive closure of the Erasmus+ E+DIETing_LAB - Digital Lab for Education in Dietetics combining Experiential Learning and Community Service project. FUNIBER researchers propose a tool to combat fake news in digital media
Dr. Mónica Gracia, international director of Admissions at the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), and Dr. Eduardo Silva, executive director of the same Foundation at its headquarters in Guatemala, are conducting a joint study with other professionals to improve the automatic detection of fake news through machine learning.
