The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) will host the Spanish-language webinar “Emotions, Stress, and the Brain: A Scientific Guide for University Students” on April 8 at 5:00 p.m. (Spain), presented by Ángel Olider Rojas and Sara Morales.
The event is held in collaboration with the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de Puerto Rico (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI México), the Fundación Universitaria Internacional de Colombia (International University Foundation of Colombia, UNINCOL), the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza, UNIC), and the Universidad de La Romana (University of La Romana, UNIROMANA).
This webinar will explain the nature of the internships at the Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Experimental Psychology at the European University of the Atlantic, which will take place during the month of July, aimed at professionals in Psychology and Education. This workshop offers comprehensive training in neuroscience and neuropsychology, combining scientific updates from experts with theoretical and practical sessions based on the latest advances, along with hands-on experience using state-of-the-art equipment. In addition, it includes the analysis of real clinical cases provided by hospitals, which allows for the integration of theory with practice and fosters the creation of a network of contacts among professionals in psychology and education within a collaborative environment.
The webinar will also analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence, neurophysiological responses, and academic performance among university students.
Ángel Olider Rojas holds a Ph.D. in Psychiatry and Medical Psychology. He has extensive experience as a professor, researcher, and clinical psychologist. Last year, he was recognized for his outstanding scientific work in the field of mental health. Sara Morales is a General Health Psychologist and Ph.D. candidate who serves in coordination, teaching, and research roles for both the undergraduate and master’s programs in psychology.
The conference is free and open to all those interested in the topic. It will be broadcast live in each country where FUNIBER operates. Broadcast schedules can be found at this link.
