From the Social Action area of the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), in collaboration with the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza,UNIC), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI Mexico), the Fundación Universitaria Internacional de Colombia (International University Foundation of Colombia, UNINCOL), the Universidad de La Romana (University of La Romana, UNIROMANA), and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB), solidarity was celebrated from the “International Solidarity Campaign – Toy Drive” held between November and December 2024.
For the second consecutive year, we organized this collection and donation action to encourage the social participation of our educational community and contribute to the integral formation of children in vulnerable situations.
We thank all our collaborators, students, and employees who have participated by donating a toy, book, or school material in the countries where FUNIBER has offices. We have been able to deliver donations to more than 400 children.
The campaign was possible thanks to the institutions that participated in the delivery of the donations. Schools, associations, hospitals, companies, social centers, foundations, NGO, shelters, universities, and neighborhood communities have collaborated.
Each FUNIBER office and university organized locally the collection and delivery of toys and other donations to social institutions, in some cases with recreational activities and snacks.
