The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) will organize, next February 4 at 16:00 hours (GMT+1), the webinar in Spanish “Broadband Policy. Ecosystem of the digital sector”.
The session will be given by Miguel López Coronado and Jorge Pérez Martínez and is part of the Jean Monnet Chair “Telecommunications Policy in the EU and Information Society” which is held by the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO) and is facing its last academic year this 2024/2025.
Broadband is the term commonly used to refer to faster internet speeds and other technical features that enable new content, applications and services to be accessed or delivered. Due to the growing importance of digital data, good internet connections are essential, not only for European businesses to remain competitive in the global economy, but also, more generally, to foster social inclusion. This topic will therefore introduce the digital sector with the ecosystem it produces in the global economy and society.
The event also has the collaboration of the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de Puerto Rico (UNIB), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (UNINI México), the Fundación Universitaria Internacional de Colombia (UNINCOL), the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (UNIC) and the Universidad de La Romana (UNIROMANA).
The conference is free and open to all those interested in the subject, and will be broadcast live in each country where FUNIBER has presence. The broadcasting schedules can be consulted in this link. To participate, it is necessary to register:
