The Erasmus+ RISE UP project (2024–2027), with the participation of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO)—an institution that is part of the International Academic Network of the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), has presented the “Teacher Toolbox for Transformative Climate Resilience.” This new resource is intended for higher education professionals and aims to integrate emotional, psychological, and social dimensions into education on climate change and sustainable development. Dr. Ángel Rojas participates in the kickoff meeting of the European climate education project RISE UP in Germany
Dr. Ángel Olider Rojas Vistorte, professor at the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), part of the network of universities with which FUNIBER collaborates, spoke this month in Germany at the official kickoff meeting of the Erasmus+ RISE UP project (2024-2027). UNEATLANTICO participates in this project with five other European institutions, aiming to help higher education professionals address both the scientific and emotional dimensions of the climate crisis, especially its impact on students.
