FUNIBER celebrates Africa Day

FUNIBER celebrates Africa Day

Africa Day is celebrated on May 25. This year, highlighting 25 years of cooperation between the African Union and the European Community, the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) commemorates the academic network created between students, teachers, researchers, professionals, institutions, and companies in different countries.

Our work encourages the sustainable progress and prosperity of the continent, promoting and developing programs, centers, and projects for training, research, and professional occupation.

We work passionately to promote the continent’s unity, knowledge, and peace through distance education, the Training Scholarship program, student exchanges, cooperation, development, and innovation projects, and the creation of institutional agreements.

FUNIBER has launched the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza, UNIC) in Angola, a higher education institution that is part of our network. Together with other universities and in cooperation with local institutions, it carries out important work for the development of the continent.

Through the exchange of African students for the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic) in Santander, Spain, we have also supported the exchange and the formation of an international network of students.

To celebrate, we have gathered the voices of some of our employees from our offices around the world.
