The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) will organize, next January 30 at 17:00 hours (Spain), the webinar in Spanish language “Opportunities for AI in Reducing Student Dropout Rates” that will be given by Dr. Kilian Tutusaus and Dr. Jorge Crespo.
The event is held in collaboration with the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de Puerto Rico (International Iberoamerican University, UNIB), the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Iberoamerican University of Mexico, UNINI Mexico), the Fundación Universitaria Internacional de Colombia (International University Foundation of Colombia, UNINCOL), the Universidade Internacional do Cuanza (International University of Cuanza, UNIC), and the Universidad de La Romana (University of La Romana, UNIROMANA).
The webinar will focus on the opportunities generated by Artificial Intelligence to improve results in e-learning platforms, through tools that allow the creation of predictive models of student dropout. Dr. Carmen Lilí Rodríguez Velasco, international academic coordinator of the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), will be in charge of moderating the session.
Jorge Crespo is coordinator of UNEATLANTICO’s Graduate Programs and professor in the fields of mathematics and statistics. Kilian Tutusaus is director of educational technology. Both participate in the project “Technologies for dynamic modeling of students and digital assistants for the improvement of results in e-learning platforms” WITH_YOU (2022-2025), led by Editores y Consultores Especializados (ECE), and in which the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) also participate.
