On September 26th and 27th, FUNIBER participated in the “Multiplier event and Project meeting” of the European project of financial education named SUCCEED (Stimulate Financial Education to Foster Entrepreneurship and Development), which was held in Salerno (Italy). The Foundation is a partner in this important community initiative promoted by the Erasmus+ program.
This is the second annual meeting after the event in October 2016 in Luxembourg. On this occasion, the ceremony, held at the Grand Hotel Salerno (Italy), was organized by CONFORM as local host. SUCCEED, the European project of financial education (Stimulate Financial Education to Foster Entrepreneurship and Development), promoted by the European Commission program, Erasmus+, is intended to stimulate financial education to promote entrepreneurship among young Europeans. FUNIBER participates as an advisor institution in the process of design and development of the contents of the courses.
The academic director of the University Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management (MBA) promoted by FUNIBER, Carlos Marcuello, and the technician in the Foundation’s projects, Neldier Lozano, both responsible for the SUCCEED program in Spain, were present at the meeting, along with the rest of European partners. In addition, these sessions were attended by representatives from the following institutions and companies: Camera di Commercio Italiana in Lussemburgo (Luxembourg); Coopération Bancaire pour l’Europe (Belgium); FVB/The Hive (Italy); RES (Belgium); BICERO (Slovenia); CONFORM (Italy); and SATEAN (Romania).
During the sessions, there were several interventions of the partners; as well as working meetings and discussion between them. In the course of the meetings, it was analyzed the work carried out up until now and the guidelines for further progress in the project were set out.
