FUNIBER, the Universidad Europea del Atlántico, and the China Chair Foundation Sign the “Santander Agreement” to Promote Academic and Institutional Cooperation With China
The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), and the China Chair Foundation signed the so-called “Santander Agreement,” a general cooperation agreement signed within the framework of the 8th Ibero-American and Iberophony Forum, held on October 15th and 16th at UNEATLANTICO’s headquarters in Santander (Spain). The agreement represents a strategic step toward strengthening institutional, academic, and cultural relations between China and the multinational community of Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries, known as the Pan-Iberian or Iberophone Space. Erica Yovaira Cernas Arce, a student in the International Master’s Program in Nutrition and Dietetics, with a dual degree from the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic, UNEATLANTICO), and the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana de México (International Ibero-American University of Mexico, UNINI Mexico)—both of which are part of the International Academic Network of the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER)—participated alongside other researchers in a study published in the journal De Gestão Social e Ambiental (RGSA), which analyzes the potential of various alternative ingredients for the production of gluten-free instant pasta.
