The winning photographs are available on the Contest webpage.
The contest organizers will award a total of 12 prizes distributed among the four categories of participation: Photojournalism, Nature, Heritage, and Abstract.
The four winners selected by the jury will receive a prize of 400€ and an 80% scholarship to study one of the postgraduate programs promoted by FUNIBER. The photograph in each category with the most public votes will be awarded €300 and a 50% scholarship to study one of the graduate programs sponsored by the Foundation.
The UNEATLANTICO Special Prize will also be awarded to the 2 best photographs submitted by a student and/or alumni from any degree of the European University of the Atlantic, with a 200€ prize for each winner. Likewise, the FUNIBER Special Prize will award the 2 best photographs submitted by postgraduate students with a FUNIBER scholarship who have completed their studies or are currently studying. Two prizes of 200€ will be awarded.
In addition to the aforementioned awards, several honorable mentions will be presented.
The competition has enjoyed the collaboration of the European University of the Atlantic, the International Iberoamerican University (UNINI Mexico), the International University Foundation of Colombia (UNINCOL) and the International Iberoamerican University (UNINI Puerto Rico).
The contest, which reached its 3rd edition this year, achieved remarkable participation in a particularly complicated period for the field of photography in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.
As in previous editions, the winning photographs will be exhibited in the exhibition hall of the European University of the Atlantic in Santander (Spain).
FUNIBER congratulates all participants for the quality of the photographs submitted.
