The renowned Spanish pianist José Luis Nieto will give a concert on December 1st at 7pm in the auditorium Spīķeru koncertzālē (Latvia), in which he will perform the Suite Iberia by the Spanish composer and pianist Isaac Albéniz.
The Suite Iberia is considered the best Spanish composition for piano and one of the greatest musical works of all time. The Spanish composer Isaac Albéniz was inspired by various places in Spain to create this masterpiece.
The auditorium Spīķeru koncertzālē, where the concert will be held, is located in Riga (Latvia) and is the most prestigious in Latvia and one of the points of reference in the classical cultural activity of the countries of the East.
José Luis Nieto is one of the most internationally renowned pianists. He has performed in the most important musical institutions in the world, with concerts in Russia, New York and various countries in Europe, the Middle East and Latin America being particularly noteworthy. This has given him a great professional background, which is reflected in the publication of his eight albums, which have received notable recognition from the specialist critics.
José Luis Nieto is one of the great references as an international concert performer, and in January 2018 he was appointed a member of the Spanish Academy of Performing Arts.
Last October, José Luis Nieto toured South America, sponsored by the Cultural Work of the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER), thanks to which they were able to enjoy extraordinary concerts in Brazil, Uruguay, Bolivia and Paraguay.
