Saiketa Weng, representative of FUNIBER in China, has visited the headquarters of the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) in Barcelona (Spain) from 11 through 15 April
The main purpose of the visit has been to learn, update and plan work strands in order for the Foundation to increase its presence in China.
During her stay, she has attended several working meetings with the objective to update her knowledge with regard to the structure of the Foundation, its different knowledge areas, the Fellowship Program, as well as the model of distance education that FUNIBER proposes, with the goal of offering a quality advisory service to the population of China interested in studying one of the academic programs sponsored by the Foundation through the University Network in which it collaborates.
Saiketa Weng emphasized the rise of the studies to learn Spanish and English in China due to the growth of business with Latin American companies and the increased presence of such enterprises in the Asian country. In addition to the courses to learn Spanish and English, the Masters with a high demand among the Chinese people are the Master in Training of Teachers of Spanish as a Foreign Language and the Master in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, which are sponsored by FUNIBER.
