The Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER), the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) and the Innovation and Development Foundation (FIDBAN) have consolidated their collaboration with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce by signing an agreement. This agreement seeks to strengthen their alliance in the business field, international relations and the promotion of entrepreneurial culture.
FUNIBER and UNEATLANTICO, as active members of FIDBAN’s Board of Trustees, have been working to generate opportunities that promote economic development and entrepreneurship. Likewise, FIDBAN has sought to establish a framework for collaboration in the Hispanic American entrepreneurial ecosystem through its investor rounds.
This agreement follows a process of collaboration that began in March, when representatives of the three institutions met in Madrid with the president of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, Mr. José Luis Bonet. At this meeting, the strengthening of FIDBAN’s international network was highlighted as a key step to expand investment and cooperation opportunities in the entrepreneurial field. The meeting was attended by the President of FUNIBER, Mr. Santos Gracia; the Vice Rector of UNEATLANTICO, Ms. Silvia Aparicio; the Director of Institutional Relations of FUNIBER, Mr. Álvaro Durántez; and the Director of FIDBAN, Mr. Diego Lainz.
Through this alliance, FUNIBER, UNEATLANTICO and FIDBAN reaffirm their commitment to the promotion of the entrepreneurial culture and the dissemination of initiatives that generate new business opportunities. This agreement underlines the importance of investment rounds, facilitating cooperation between investors and entrepreneurs, and contributing to the strengthening of an international network that connects innovative projects with the necessary resources for their development.
