The Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo (Innovation and Development Foundation) (FIDBAN), promoted by the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) and the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (European University of the Atlantic) (UNEATLANTICO), opens a new deadline for Cantabrian startups that want to present their project in search of funding.
The new round of investors, which makes the number 18, will take place on October 2 in the auditorium of the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO). The deadline for submitting projects for selection by the FIDBAN Technical Committee is on Monday, September 18. You can send your project to secretaria@fidban.com or you can fill in the form that appears on the web platform of the Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo here.
FIDBAN is a member of the Spanish Association of Business Angels (AEBAN) and a total of 68 startups have gone through its investment rounds, mostly from Cantabria, plus others from Latin America, such as Mexico, El Salvador, and Guatemala. FIDBAN has started with investment rounds since 2017.
As of this year, all FIDBAN Investor Rounds include an interview with a successful entrepreneur and can be followed in person or through the Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo’s social networks.
The Fundación Innovación y Desarrollo (FIDBAN) is promoted by its founders, the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) and the Universidad Europea del Atlántico (UNEATLANTICO), as a non-profit organization that seeks to link profitable entrepreneurial projects in need of financing with potential equity investors. Its board of trustees is currently made up of FUNIBER, UNEATLANTICO, SODERCAN, the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), CITICAN, the city councils of Santander and Torrelavega and CEOE-CEPYME.
