On September 8, the second monthly follow-up meeting was held with the partners that form part of the European project Erasmus + Digital TA (2022-25), in which the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (FUNIBER) participated in and led by the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO).
The project was aimed at improving the practical education of student-teachers and young schoolteachers in the European Union, reducing professional attrition when transitioning between learning to teach and teaching to learn.
In this virtual meeting, the following collaborating universities participated: Limerick (Ireland), Jan Kochanowski (Czech Republic), Artesis Plantijn (Belgium) and Palacký (Poland), as well as the Centro de Formación del Profesorado de Segovia (Spain), the Centro de Formación Świętokrzyskie Centrum Doskonalenia Nauczycieli (Poland) and the Fundación Universitaria Iberoamericana (FUNIBER). On behalf of UNEATLANTICO, Josep Alemany, professor and project coordinator, and on behalf of FUNIBER, Thomas Prola, who recently led the webinar “Emerging initiatives for teaching transitions between the academy and the classroom”.
The main focus of the meeting was the approval of the documents produced so far, the organization of the calendar of activities, the meetings for the next two months and the Kick Off Meeting that will take place at the UNEATLANTICO university campus on September 27, 28, 29 and 30.
This is one of the many actions that will be carried out for the design and development of the project over the next three years, allowing for improved relations and synergies between the participating institutions that will help in achieving the objectives set.
