The Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) will participate, on 27 July, in the Ibero-American Forum “CIDIAT, Environmental and Post-Pandemic Academy”, which will be held virtually.

The event is organised by the Inter-American Centre for Environmental and Territorial Development and Research (CIDIAT), a unit dependent on the Academic Vice-Rector’s Office of the University of the Andes, which aims to contribute to the sustainable economic and social development of Venezuela and the other countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.

During the Forum, aspects of the dynamics in the teaching of environmental sciences through new modalities and technologies will be addressed, as well as the work carried out by CIDIAT over the last 55 years, and the objectives to be worked on taking into account the new pandemic and post-pandemic context.

The presence of FUNIBER in the event responds to the strategic alliances that it maintains with CIDIAT, and that have the purpose of offering support in the research and specialized education of postgraduate, science and technological development.

During the meeting, several conferences related to sustainable development will be held, among which the one by Dr. Luis Dzul, rector of the Universidad Internacional Iberoamericana (UNINI Mexico), institution that belongs to the network of universities with which FUNIBER collaborates, stands out.
