FUNIBER headquarters in Angola changes its location in Luanda, the country’s capital, to move to new facilities in order to offer a better service to scholarship holders and all the people interested in asking for information
The Foundation new facilities are in Cacuaco (a municipality in Luanda), in the district of Salinas, in the street Direita de Cacuaco, by the Artesanato square. This way, the headquarters will be in a more accessible area and directly connected to the city center, as well as to two other municipalities, Belas and Viana.
By moving the headquarters, FUNIBER intend to improve and facilitate its relations with the most important institutions of Angola, as well as its representatives in the academic field.
In the new headquarters, it will be offered information and services related to FUNIBER’s Scholarship Program to give access to Master’s degree, Specializations and Doctorates in the different knowledge areas sponsored by the Foundation. Furthermore, personalized attention will be provided to students who have been granted with a FUNIBER scholarship, and cultural and educational activities developed in the country will be supported.
With the goal of offering the best services, Ricardo Almeida, Executive Director of FUNIBER Portugal, has travelled to Luanda in order to train and update the Foundation’s professionals in Angola.
Additionally, during his stay, Ricardo Almeida and Victorino Baião, Executive
Director of FUNIBER in Angola, have visited the biggest public-private hospital in Angola, with the aim to establish the basis for a future agreement between FUNIBER and the hospital.
The acquisition of new headquarters is a clear example of FUNIBER’s progress and consolidation in the country, in addition to keep working to achieve its main objective, to offer superior high education and training to everybody.
