Director of the Master in Criminal Psychology at FUNIBER receives the Gold Medal for perseverance

The Director of the Master in Criminal Psychology and of the Master in Criminalistics promoted by the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), Luis Jiménez, receives the gold medal for constancy during the celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Spanish Society of Criminology and Forensic Sciences (Sociedad Española de Criminología y Ciencias Forenses, SECCIF).

The award was presented at the University of Valladolid, on the Academic-Scientific Gala to celebrate the 20th anniversary of SECCIF. During the gala, the gold medal for perseverance was awarded to Luis Jiménez, a collaborator of the Foundation, for two decades of work and perseverance in the field of criminalistics.

Luis Jiménez holds a degree in Psychology, specializing in Work and Organizations, and a Higher Diploma in Criminology issued by the European University Miguel de Cervantes. He also has training in the areas of psychology and criminology, is Director of the Master in Criminal Psychology and the Master in Criminalistics of FUNIBER, and worked 12 years as a member of the Judicial Police investigating homicide cases.

The Spanish Society of Criminology and Forensic Sciences (SECCIF) is a non-profit association dedicated to promoting research work in the field of criminology and forensic sciences. It also seeks to promote training in these fields through the organization of courses, conferences, seminars, and other related activities. Its main objective is to provide the members of the association with the necessary resources to adequately protect their professional activity, both in the legal and personal spheres.
