The closing day of the 7th International Congress on Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention in Physical Activity and Sport, and the 5th Congress on Health and Physical Exercise took place on Sunday, April 25, with the celebration of the last two lectures.
Renowned professionals in the field of sports medicine, health sciences and exercise, or the physical preparation of sports teams participated in this congress. During each session, the speakers were accompanied by a moderator who introduced the lecture and relayed questions from the audience.
On behalf of the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO) which belongs to the network of universities with which FUNIBER collaborates, professors Antonio Bores and Manuel Crespo, and Valeria Iglesias, a student of the Degree in Advertising and Public Relations, also played a role.
The event structured its presentations into three distinct thematic areas (Recovery, Prevention and Performance) related to preventive health, therapeutic care, and rehabilitation for injury prevention.
Attendees had the opportunity to submit research papers, which were evaluated by the Scientific Committee of the Congress. Last Saturday, the three best works were presented by their authors to the rest of the audience.
For all those attendees who were unable to attend for professional reasons, the videos of the presentations or the bibliographic material are available on the virtual platform to which they have been given access.
The event is the result of the joint organization of the Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER), the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), and Jam Sports, as a result of the collaboration agreement signed between the three institutions.
The virtual format of the event has enabled the presence of an international audience. From all of us at FUNIBER, we thank the attendees for their commitment and motivation to expand their knowledge.
