In 2017, the Ibero-American University Foundation (FUNIBER) celebrates 20 years since its foundation
FUNIBER was founded in 1997 in Barcelona (Spain), and since then, it has worked to fulfill its main objective: to offer a top quality education for everyone, without distinction or exclusion.
Throughout these 20 years, the Foundation has developed its activities in different lines of action: the creation of Master’s Degrees, Specializations and PhDs; the development of international cooperation and research projects; the creation of customized training for companies and institutions; the granting of Training Fellowships, as well as the cession of the Cultural Work for its exposure.
Since its foundation in Barcelona, and as a sign of its consolidation and expansion, FUNIBER already has a presence in more than 30 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. Moreover, the Foundation has built an academic and professional network with more than 60 universities around the world and companies and institutions of renowned international recognition.
In these 20 years, more than 100,000 students around the world have received some of the Online Master’s Degrees, Specializations and PhDs that sponsors FUNIBER through the University Network in which collaborates. In this regard, FUNIBER accounts, among its formative offer of postgraduate studies, with more than 180 programmes, that can be taken in Spanish, Portuguese, French, English and Italian.
Also, FUNIBER has extended its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility through the provision of Training Fellowships in order to facilitate the access to quality higher education and develop training activities such as conferences, workshops and seminars with renowned experts in their respective fields of study.
On the other hand, FUNIBER, through the cession of its Cultural Work, has allowed the organization of art exhibitions in Latin America of the main Spanish painters such as Picasso, Miró and Dalí, among others.
In order to celebrate its twentieth anniversary, FUNIBER will organize various events throughout the year in those countries where it has a presence, which will be announced shortly. In addition, it will expand its academic offer by sponsoring new programmes with the Online methodology, so students are able to manage their time adapting it to the rhythm of their lives.
