Complete success of the Antonio Bores activities in Panama - Funiber News

Antonio Bores, FUNIBER’s teacher in the Area of Sports, hosted, in Panama, the conference “Physical Planning at School’ and the seminar “New Trends in the Sports Training” which were a total success in attendance.

The Conference “Physical Planning at School”, which was organized by FUNIBER in collaboration with the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), was held last July 21^st and its main purpose was to present a global holistic and different vision of the aspects that need to be borne in mind when formulating the methodological proposal to be implemented in physical education classes.

At the same time, from July 19^th to 23^rd, FUNIBER in collaboration with the Specialized University of the Americas (UDELAS) and UNEATLANTICO, conducted the seminar “New Trends on Sports Training”.

Training was provided by the Dr. Antonio Bores and Dr. Jesús Arco, who is a Technician in Physical Activity and Sports Animation and holds a Diploma in Physiotherapy by the E.U. GIMBERNAT, with the aim of raising awareness of the new methodologies in high performance to achieve the best results for athletes.

Both activities have had the participation of students of the Degree in Physical Activity Sciences, sports coaches, Special Olympics physical trainers, instructors, athletes and physiotherapy professors.

With these conferences, FUNIBER seeks to promote higher education in the country and improve the training of sports professionals in Panama.

Antonio Bores, Doctor in Sports Science and Physical Education, is a teacher in the Area of Sports in FUNIBER and is also the coordinator of the Degree in Sport and Exercise in the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO). In addition, Dr. Bores has been the physical trainer of the Real Federación Española de Futbol for more than 6 years, where he works with the Futsal Spanish Selection.
