FUNIBER participates to the Ciudad México New International Airport Project

FUNIBER, through the Centro de Innovación y Transferencia Tecnológica de Campeche (CITTECAM), is participating to the Ciudad México New International Airport Project

CITTECAM, a technological center created by FUNIBER and the International Iberoamerican University of Mexico (UNINI México), will develop and implement a Comprehensive Environmental Management System for the Ciudad México New International Airport Project.

Accordingly, CITTECAM, in cooperation with the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) and the Center for Computing Research, will provide specialized technical assistance for the environmental supervision of the project; in order to meet all the needed requirements for the prevention and control of pollution, water, soils, air, noise biodiversity and waste management.

The Ciudad México New International Airport Project is the most important infrastructure project in the last decades in Mexico and intends to be a unique project in Latin America and a world model for sustainability.

The Comprehensive Environmental Management System development and implementation by CITTECAM started on June 1st, 2015 and will end on December 15th, 2017.
