Mamadou Diop Decroix, Senegal’s former Minister and current General Secretary of the And-Jëf/African Party for Democracy and Socialism, visited FUNIBER’s headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.
During his visit on September 17th, Mamadou Diop—who is also a member of the National Assembly of Senegal—met with FUNIBER’s president, Santos Gracias, and FUNIBER’s representative in Senegal, Ibrahim Mboup.
The aim of this meeting was to initiate conversations to begin future collaboration agreements with Senegalese institutions to expand FUNIBER’s presence in Senegal—where the Foundation has an office in Dakar, the capital of the country—and facilitate access to higher education with FUNIBER’s Scholarship Program.
Mamadou Diop also used his trip to Spain to visit the European University of the Atlantic (UNEATLANTICO), which has a collaboration agreement with FUNIBER to offer scholarships.
