Manuel Cristóbal Rodríguez, professor of the Translation and Interpretation Degree at UNEATLANTICO (belonging to the university network with which FUNIBER collaborates), has been nominated for best professor in the 5th edition of the Educa ABANCA Awards, in the category of university teaching.

The final decision will not be known until mid-November. The professor emphasized that he felt “an intense emotion” upon learning of his nomination, since it means that the daily work he carries out in the classroom is of help to students. “To think that, not only am I teaching my classes, but also connecting with people so much so that they think I’m going beyond teaching, is amazing,” he acknowledges.

In addition to academic education and professional experience, the nominated professor emphasized the vocational importance of performing his role satisfactorily.

In this award, students and families nominate the professor, who then undergoes an evaluation process based on his or her merits and track record.

The Educa ABANCA award was created five years ago with the aim of providing more visibility to teaching activities.

FUNIBER congratulates the professor for his nomination and dedication toward student education.
