The 7th International Congress on Rehabilitation and Injury Prevention in Physical Activity and Sport, and the 5th Congress on Health and Physical Exercise, organized by The Iberoamerican University Foundation (FUNIBER) and to be held in virtual mode from April 9th to 25th, 2021, will consist of three thematic areas.

The conferences corresponding to the Recovery area will be held between April 9th and 11th.

The bone health of the athlete will be the main topic of Mauricio Monaco’s lecture. This lecture will describe common injuries and medical conditions related to the bone health of the professional athlete.

Regarding spaces for exercise, attendees will be able to learn about training on sand surfaces with speaker Paolo Gaudino.

On April 10th, the conference on “Vultures in Ultrasound, Red Flag Ultrasounds in sports injuries”, will take place and presented by Jordi Reig. Following the topic on injuries, Francesc Cos’ lecture will explain hypertrophy in rehabilitation.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about real case studies, such as the one presented by Josep Caballero in his lecture “Frequency analysis as a criterion for Return to Play”.

Daniel Martínez Silván will close this first series of lectures on April 11th to explain the treatment of Achilles and patellar tendinopathies, and present a tool to objectify the load received by the tendon (during training and during exercises) from an eminently practical approach.
