Next August 15th, FUNIBER organizes, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment of Bolivia, the conference “Effects of Climate Change in the World and in Bolivia” in the Real Plaza Hotel & Convention Center in La Paz (Bolivia)
The activity has been presented as a proposal for a closed conference for a group of professionals of the area that has been mentioned above, professionals who have been invited by the Ministry of Environment of Bolivia.
The conference will be host by Elvira Carles, director of the Empresa & Clima Foundation. She graduated in Pharmacy in the University of Barcelona (Spain), and holds a Master’s Degree in Water Engineering by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain).
The main purpose of the day is creating awareness among companies for the mitigation of and adaptation to climate change, explaining which tools are necessary to meet the commitments and challenges posed by climate change, as well as highlighting the importance that all citizens have an active role in environmental protection.
FUNIBER keeps working in developing a training program for professionals in such an important area as the environment.
