FUNIBER starts, on June 20th, the contest “FUNIBER Olympics”. Information will be provided through the different channels of the Foundation
Next August 5th, it will begin one of the most important global events in sports, Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, and FUNIBER, as an institution of global nature that promotes interculturality, joins this event by starting the “FUNIBER Olympics”.
FUNIBER goes beyond, the contest is more than a sports event: it represents a new opportunity for students and alumni to put into practice the acquired knowledge by developing a project in which they give information and opinions on different socio-cultural, historical, economic and scientific elements related to the event.
Instructions for Participants
Until July 11th, Students and alumni will be able to register and send their projects in any format allowed in the contest (article, photo essay, video, computer graphics and posters). There are instructions and specifications for each format, which can be read in the contest rules.
A committee of teachers and members of the Communication Department of FUNIBER will choose the 10 semi-finalists among all the received projects. The 10 selected projects will be published in the blog www.estudiarenfuniber.com, then they will be submitted to popular vote , ‘likes’ on Facebook will be counted. The 3 most liked projects will pass to the great final. In this last phase, the texts will be submitted to popular vote to choose the winning project.
On August 22nd, a day after the end of the Rio 2016 Summer Olympics, we will announce the “FUNIBER Olympics” winner, who will receive a tablet and an 80% Scholarship to enroll in any FUNIBER program, enclosed within the University Network with which it collaborates. Similarly, the second classified will also receive a tablet.
The registration and prjects submission ends on July 11th at 23:59 h. (Central Spanish Time).
