The Executive Director of FUNIBER in Senegal meets with important public figures from the country

Ibra Mboup, Executive Director of FUNIBER in Senegal, met with important public figures from the country in a commemorative ceremony of the IV Centenary of  Shakespeare and Cervantes’s death, which was celebrated in Dakar, on 22nd April

The gala was both organized by the Spanish Embassy in Senegal and the British Council, and it was held in the facilities of the Université Cheikh Anta Diop (UCAD) in Dakar with the purpose of commemorating the 400 years of the death of two of the most important figures of universal literature as  Miguel de Cervantes y William Shakespeare.

During the meeting, discussions were initiated to establish future lines of educational and cultural collaboration between the Embassy of Spain in Senegal, the UCAD AND FUNIBER.

In the course of the event, Ibra Mboup explained to the guests which activities the work of the foundation and the activities it carries out in the country, and he did it in the presence of important personalities of the economic, educational, political and social areas, for example Alberto Virella, Spain’s Ambassador in Senegal. Along with it, he also outlined the benefits of the agreement signed between FUNIBER and the UCAD for students of the University of Dakar can access the postgraduate programs sponsored by the Foundation thanks to the Fellowship Program UCAD-FUNIBER.
